Technology Partners We Work With

To create and deliver PlotJoys, we work with trusted technology partners:

• Content creation partners help us craft personalized stories, illustrations, and other creative content. They access the information you provide (names, ages, photos, personal details, creative requests). They do not use your data to train their own models or for any purpose beyond creating your personalized content.
• Infrastructure partners provide hosting, payments, authentication, and security. They access account data and stored content (all encrypted).

All partners are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for providing our services. We may change partners as technology evolves, but will always ensure they meet our privacy and security standards.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

If you create a profile for a child under 13, you are providing "verifiable parental consent" under COPPA. By using PlotJoys, you confirm:

• You are either the parent/legal guardian OR an adult with parental permission (such as a grandparent, relative, or family friend creating a gift)
• You authorize PlotJoys to collect and use the information as described in this policy
• You understand how the information will be used

• Closed accounts: If you close your account, we delete all your data within 30 days
• Stories: If you delete a story, it's gone immediately
• Legal requirements: We may retain some data if required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes)
